The Family Legacy

These awards are personally presented by our Founder and his Mother, Safiya, on the last Saturday of every month. We believe in celebrating the character and heart of our people.

The Safiya Excellence Award

Named after the Founder’s mother, his first teacher. It honors her unconditional love, nurturing spirit, and lifelong wisdom. This is awarded to a mother or woman in Cardiff who shows exceptional leadership in her family’s wellbeing.

The Rashid Youth Resilience Award

Dedicated to the Founder’s nephew, Rashid. His bravery and courage from a young age are the inspiration for this award. It is presented to a young person (11–25) or our volunteer who shows outstanding determination in their own journey.
