Abdirahman Mohamoud Farah (MA, PGCert, BSc (Hons))

Founder, Managing Director & Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL)

Abdirahman is a specialist in child development and mental health with over 20 years of experience serving the Cardiff community. While leading our non-clinical community programmes, he brings a high level of professional expertise to ensure our services are evidence-based and culturally resonant.

  • Expertise: Abdirahman holds a Master of Arts in Child and Adolescent Mental Health (CAMH), a Postgraduate Certificate in Health Sciences and a BSc (Hons) in Childhood Studies.
  • Experience: His career is defined by nearly 15 years in Cardiff Council’s Local Authority Cardiff County Council Children’s Play Service) and senior support roles within the Cardiff and Vale University Health Board.
  • Mission: As our Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL), Abdirahman ensures that a “Safety-First” culture is embedded in every workshop and home-visit we provide.

Hafsa Mohamed

Director of Operations & Community Liaison

Hafsa Mohamed is an operations specialist with a background in acute healthcare support and professional advocacy. She oversees the day-to-day management of the CIC, ensuring that our non-clinical services are delivered with administrative precision and a “Community-First” approach.

  • Expertise: Hafsa is currently furthering her medical training in Operating Department Practice (ODP) within the Cardiff and Vale University Health Board, bringing a high standard of professional discipline to our operational team.
  • Experience: Her background includes High-Level Case Management and Advocacy within international regulatory frameworks, making her an expert in navigating complex support systems for families.
  • Mission: Hafsa leads our Community Liaison, ensuring that every family is met with empathy and that our programmes are sensory-friendly and inclusive for all.
